The best path to the Aviation industry: IAANZ

The best path to the Aviation industry: IAANZ

The International Aviation Academy of New Zealand (IAANZ) has exclusive benefits that help our students progress smoothly through their chosen courses.

IAANZ the history

Established in 1928, the International Aviation Academy of New Zealand is a prestigious flight training school. IAANZ is a proud member of the largest Aeroclub in NZ. The institute operates from the Christchurch international airport setting it apart from the average flying school.

The International Aviation Academy of New Zealand holds New Zealand Qualification Authority (NZQA) and the New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority (NZ CAA) Part 141 approval for flight training.

CAA NZ

The CAA is a government agency that maintains civil aviation safety and security standards in New Zealand. They are also the authority figure when it comes to civilian pilots, aircraft, and aerodrome licenses. The government established the CAA in 1992 for the regulation of aviation. Before that, it fell under the ministry of transport.

  • The agency oversees aviation safety and security.
  • They also operate an airport security team known as Avsec.

The aviation community includes licensed pilots, air traffic controllers, aviation engineers, flight schools, aircraft maintenance technicians, and organizations. Everyone in the community must follow the rules and regulations set by the CAA.

New Zealand offers a wonderful experience to international students and is known for its high education and living standards. It is the topmost preference for Indian students who want to train as pilots.

IAANZ is the perfect path to the aviation industry.

The location, the faculty, and the institute’s unending passion for improving the quality of education and training globally have made it one of the top choices for flight training.

With the newly added eLearning program, the eAviator, IAANZ, is ready to open countless doors to the aviation industry even through the COVID19 pandemic. It takes three to five years of training to become a professional pilot. We want our students to start today, even if they cannot fly to New Zealand for the time being.
